Mix & Match: The Art of Layering Jewelry with Meaning

Style is no longer about following rules — it’s about expressing who you are. With Mix & Match, GUZEMA celebrates individuality: jewelry layered across collections, across moods, across stories.

This campaign brings together three women whose lives are defined by creativity, strength, and self-expression — Nina Tiari, a New York–based fashion designer, Samantha Tan, a professional race car driver and team owner, and Marina Mazepa, a Ukrainian actress, dancer, and movement artist. Each embodies a different rhythm of life, yet all show how GUZEMA jewelry becomes a language of its own, telling stories when words fall short.

Nina Tiari: Expression Beyond Trends

For Nina, style is less about fashion and trends, and more about identity. “Style to me is about expression… what you have to say, what music you listen to, what books you read, where you’ve traveled,” she shares.

She lives in layers — mixing metals, textures, and a touch of irony to tell her story. In her first look, Nina paired bold orbs and sculptural chokers in yellow gold — the Orbs Transformer Necklace, Solid Wide Choker, Bold Sphere Earrings, and a stack of Arc Bracelets — balancing strength with fluidity.

In another look, she played with contrast: the delicate Baby Bell Necklace in yellow gold layered with the diamond-studded Petal Flat Choker in white gold, the sculptural Snake Bracelet, and a mix of rings that carried both memory and statement. The pairing reflected Nina’s own story — the gentle notes of motherhood entwined with the bold sparkle of a fashion designer.

“All the jewelry I wear every day tells a story about the time of my life, the people of my life. It makes me feel complete,” Nina says. And with GUZEMA, those stories intertwine into living fragments of her journey.

Samantha Tan: Speed and Softness

Samantha Tan broke barriers as the first woman to win world-class 24-hour races, carving out a space for herself in the male-dominated world of motorsport. For her, jewelry is the finishing touch — the detail that completes a look and carries meaning.

“I think jewelry does tell a story… something I wear a lot is my grandmother’s watch. She passed away last year, but it’s a powerful reminder for me every day. She even gave me my Chinese name, which I proudly wear on my car,” she reflects.

In her first GUZEMA look, Samantha wore the cosmic Celestial Blue Necklace with the Trio Celestial Blue Earrings, layered with bold orb and diamond rings — from the sculptural Bold Duo Ring to the Spiral Diamond Ring. The mix of celestial motifs and strong, rounded forms echoed both her precision on the track and her openness to intuition in life.

In another look, she chose contrast once again: the sleek Semi-Sphere Necklace in yellow gold with Flats Drop Earrings in white gold, stacked with signet and orb rings across metals. Here, minimalism met complexity — a reflection of the many roles she balances as a racer, team owner, and creative. “As a team owner I wear many hats. Sometimes I have to switch between being the creative and being the boss, the manager, the logistical lead,” Samantha explains. “I think jewelry reflects that too — different roles, mixed together.”

For Samantha, speed and softness are not opposites — but layers of the same story.

Marina Mazepa: Movement in Gold

For Marina Mazepa, creativity is a language that moves through everything she does — from choreography to acting, from the screen to her personal style. “Creativity drives everything about my style,” she says. “I’m drawn to pieces that are classy, chic, and have a creative edge — something timeless yet unexpected that makes me feel truly myself.”

In her first look, Marina embraced warmth and motion through yellow gold. She layered the sculptural Solid Wide Choker with the cascading Chainfall Necklace, pairing them with Alas Earrings from the Metamorphosis collection — a nod to transformation and grace. Her hands became a canvas of rhythm and light: the Heart Transformer та Ring, Planet Ring, Butterfly Ring, and Triple Spiral Bracelet intertwined with GUZEMA’s signature Snake and Arc designs, creating fluid movement with every gesture.

Her second look shifted to the serenity of white gold. The Petal Flat Choker and Chainfall Earrings framed her face, reflecting light with every turn. Across her hands, sculptural contrasts continued — Bold Planet, Flat Charm Transformer, and Signet Rings balanced shine with strength. Together, they echoed the duality at the heart of Marina’s life — discipline and freedom, stillness and motion.

“One of my most meaningful pieces is my grandmother’s gold ring,” she reflects. “It carries the warmth of my home, love, and the roots of where I came from.” That sentiment defines her Mix & Match philosophy: blending timeless, minimal forms with sculptural accents to express every facet of her artistry.

For Marina, movement is emotion — and jewelry becomes its rhythm in gold and light.
